So, you want to learn how to perform functions in an Oracle database environment? There’s no denying the fact that operating Oracle is both a fun and rewarding experience that can lead to a lucrative career, but you must know the steps to get on the right path. Like most things in life, learning Oracle takes time, patience, dedications and loads of hard work. To find out more about Oracle and how to learn the concepts of it, keep reading. **Where Should I Start?** While many people would like to learn Oracle, few know where to start. Sure, you could go spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on training courses and expensive tutorials, but I recommend taking a less-expensive, more hands-on approach. Instead of coughing up your hard-earned money on these training courses, you should start by downloading your own copy of Oracle. Don’t worry, the Oracle Express Edition is completely free to download, use, distribute and deploy. Simply visit their website, download the installer and run it on your computer. If you need help, look on their website for free tutorials that cover these types of operations. Here, individuals come to both answer and ask questions related to working with Oracle.
